摘 要:主要研究了硬脂酸(SA)湿法表面改性普通氢氧化镁的工艺过程,其改性效果由活化指数日进行表征。研究了不同反应温度、搅拌转速、反应时间对活化指数的影响,同时,利用FT-IR,SEM,TG对硬脂酸表面改性的氢氧化镁进行表征。结果表明:当反应温度为85—90℃、搅拌转速为400r/min、反应时间3h、硬脂酸用量为2%(占氢氧化镁干粉的质量分数)时,其活化指数达到96%;普通氢氧化镁由亲水性完全转变成亲油性;改性后的氢氧化镁分散性更好,热分解温度更高。FT—IR,TG分析表明:硬脂酸分子在氢氧化镁粉体表面发生吸附键合,形成了新的化学键。The surface modification process of the common magnesium hydroxide with stearic acid ( SA ) wet method was mainly investigated. The modified effect was characterized by the activation index H. The influence of such factors as reaction temperature, stirring speed and reaction time on the activation index H was studied. Meanwhile, the surface modification results were evaluated by the means of FT - IR, SEM and TG. The results indicated that when the reaction temperature was 85 -90 ℃, stirring speed was 400 r/min, reaction time was 3 h, stearic acid was 2% (by weight), the activation index H reached 96% and the modified common magnesium hydroxide was absolutely changed into hydrophobe from hydrophile. Its dispersivity and thermal decomposing temperature were improved after modification. FT - IR and TG analysis of product indicated that stearic acid molecules occured adsorbing bond on the surface of Mg ( OH ) 2 powders, forming new chemical bonds.
