摘　　要：本文对当前流行的两种分布式对象模型CORBA和RMI的性能进行了研究。在C/S模式下,我们分别对有无参数的方法调用的响应时间、以Applet作为客户端的响应时间以及多客户端请求相同服务的响应时间进行了实验分析,从而为开发基于Web的分布式实时应用提供参考。The performances of the two most popular distributed object models named RMI and CORBA are studied. The following aspects are analyzed for the C/S applications： the response time for method invocation with and without parameters, the response time for applet clients, and the response time for variable number of clients requesting the same service, which provides a reference for the development of web-based distributed real-time applications.
