摘　　要：伊丽莎白·毕晓普是20世纪美国诗坛上最重要的诗人之一。她的诗歌富于技巧,清新鲜活又神秘深刻。她擅长以细致的手法和精确的意象描述客观世界及相应的内心感受。她能够深刻理解人的内心和外部世界的互动关系,在不动声色的描绘中传达作者敏捷的智慧和深藏的激情。毕晓普的诗风异彩纷呈,修辞特点富有个性化,给人以动态的美感。ELizabeth Bishop, one of the most important American poets in the 20th century, distinguishes herself from others by her close and sharp observation of the world and by her unique description of the relationship between the world and man. This paper analyzes the characteristics of Bishop＇s poems, showing how her poetic notions are reflected in her works and how she manages to maintain a subtle balance between her exploration of the inner and outer worlds on the one hand, and her mastery of the arts of poetry on the other.
