摘　　要：探讨了城市规划设计与历史文化名城保护的关系,结合工作经验探讨了通过科学的城市规划来实现历史文化名城的保护与现代城市建设的有机融合,并提出了具体措施.This paperdiscusses the relationship of urban planning design and preservation of historical and cultural cities. Based on the experience, the main strategy of this problem is to establish a valid coordination between the modern city construction and the historic city conservation based on the scientific urban planning, then it provides constructive suggestions on conservation of historic cities.
