摘　　要：通过对废纸市场和新闻纸供需情况的分析,认为2008年新闻纸大幅提价主要原因是成本上涨,而供需状况改善、需求拉动是次因。提价改善了新闻纸行业的盈利能力,但后期上涨幅度有限。新闻纸行业步入景气尚需时日。After an analysis of the supply and demand in the waste paper and newsprint market, it is concluded that the major cause for the great price rise of newsprint in 2008 is the rise in cost and that the improvement in supply and demand and demand-pull is the secondary cause. The price rise improves the earning capacity of the newsprint industry but the extent for the later rise is limited. The prosperity of the newsprint industry is still a long way to go.
