摘　　要：大型的软件开发都离不开版本控制系统对软件开发的过程进行全程跟踪、管理。作为版本控制系统的核心——版本库——设计的好坏影响到使用的性能。为了重现工作历史,版本库要记录客户端的任何变化信息,所以版本库的存储空间以惊人的速度增加,如何设计版本库以及有效地降低存储空间增长率,并且方便实现与其相关的功能,本文作了详细的讨论。The version control system is required for supervising and managing entire process in a large - scale software development. The version repository, being the main part of version control system, affects the performance of whole system. The storage space of the version repository has been increasing because that client ＇ s all change are recorded in order to restore working history. We discusses the structure of the version repository and how reduce increase extension rate and implement functions related to version repository .
