摘　　要：STATCOM(Static Synchronous Compensator,静止无功同步补偿器)是利用现代大功率电力电子器件的开关作用产生无功功率的装置,是FACTS(Flexible Altemating Current Transmission System,柔性交流输电系统)技术的核心.分析了上海电网黄渡分区的无功情况,并介绍了该分区实施安装的基于IGCT(Integrated Gate-Commutated Thyristor,集成门极换流晶闸管)关断元件的STATCOM装置的结构原理,说明了STATCOM静态无功补偿装置在电网中的应用.该装置为柔性输电系统技术的应用与发展积累了运行经验.A STATCOM is a power electronics voltage-source converter based device that can act as either a source or sink of reactive AC power to an electricity network and, if connected to a source of power, can also provide active AC power. The author analyzes the reactive power situation of Huangdu District in IGCT element which Shanghai Electric System, and introduces the theory of the STATCOM based on is installed in Huangdu District. The author depicts the application of this STATCOM, and hopes this item will promote the development of FACTS technic by the first application of this device in Shanghai electricity network.
