摘　　要：Ray Jackendoff的研究基本上限于内语言,他认为一个语言单位由语音、句法、语义和空间结构四个层面构成,但存在一些缺省的情况。用其语言观来对照汉语,我们发现,汉语语言单位在四个层面分布是不均衡的,句法层最弱,空间和韵律层最强。这为汉语的广义形态找到了依据。Jackendoff＇ s new theory is targeted at internal language. It holds that an ideal language unit is an integration of four stratums： phonological, syntactic, semantic, and spatial structures. But some units are default values. Viewed from the Jackendoffian model, we find that Chinese differs from English in that its syntactic structure is simple while phonological and spatial structures are sophisticated. Therefore we can establish the notion of generalized form in Chinese.
