摘　　要：经过综合研究分析我国西部地区生态建设的现状,将中国西部分为西北、青藏高原和西南三个区域,在此基础上提出了适合我国国情的西部生态建设Y型战略:将中国西部12省(区、市)分为西北、青藏高原和西南三个区域,其分界线形如一个大的Y字,因此称之为中国西部生态建设的Y型战略。三大区域由于各自面临的主要生态问题及其自然经济社会条件不同,其生态建设的战略重点也各有侧重。西北区域的核心任务是加快生态治理,要特别突出对沙化土地的生态治理;青藏高原区域的核心任务是加强生态保护,要特别突出对水土植被资源、珍稀濒危野生动植物和湿地资源的保护;西南区域的核心任务是提高森林经营水平,要特别突出对现有林分的改造提升,提高林地生产力,充分发挥其综合效益。三大区域的生态建设既各有侧重,又相互包容。西北区域以生态治理为核心,但也存在生态保护和提高森林经营水平的问题;青藏高原区域以生态保护为核心,但也存在生态治理和提高森林经营水平的问题;西南区域以提高森林经营水平为核心,但也存在生态治理和生态保护的问题。从战略背景、战略构思、战略任务、战略措施四个方面初步研究分析了Y型战略框架,对我国生态建设的理论和实践都具有重要的指导意义。Through comprehensive research and analysis, the regionalization of ecological restoration in west Chinacan be divided into three area, i.e. northwest, Qinghai-Xizang plateau, and southwest. In the Y-type strategy proposed in the paper, the 12 provinces of west China is divided into three regions. Because its boundary is like the capital letter Y, we call it the Y-type strategy of the ecological construction in west China. The strategy emphasis of three great regions is on different aspects as they have diverse ecological problems and natural, economic, and social conditions. The main task of northwest region is speeding up the ecological harness, especially the harness of sandification farmland. The main task of Qinghai-Xizang plateau region is strengthening ecological protection, especially the protection of water, soil, and vegetable resources, rare and endangered wild animals, plants and wetland resources. The main task of southwest region is improving the management level, especially the rebuilding and up- grading on existing forest stand, the elevation of forest land productivity, and the exertion of comprehensive benefits. The ecological constructions of three great regions have different emphasis, and contain each other. The center task of northwest region is ecological construction, also contains ecological protection and improving forest management level. The center task of Qinghai-Xizang plateau region is ecological protection, also contain ecological harness and improving forest management level. The：center task of southwest region is improving forest management level, also contain ecological harness and protection. Its basic frame is researched and analyzed through strategy background, strategy design, strategy mission, and strategy measures in the paper. It will have important guide function on China＇ s theory and practice of ecological restoration.
