摘　　要：本文描述了第三代通用I/O总线PCI Express产生的背景,分析PCI Express总线的主要特点及体系结构。同时本文提出了通过PCI Express总线来实现SDH信号高速数据通信,讨论了用Xilinx可编程逻辑器件FPGA来实现PCI Express的细节和优势。This paper describes the background of the third-generation I/O bus called PCI Express, analyses the main feature and architecture of PCI Express Bus. At the same time, this paper proposed a new design method which can implement the high speed data rate communication of SDH signal through the PCI Express Bus. And it discusses the particular and the advantage of using Field Programmable Gate Array （FPGA） which from the Xilinx to implement the PCI Express Bus.
