摘　　要：在亨利.詹姆斯国际题材小说中,"美国女孩"是文化叙事的主题性意义人物。一种文化的深层结构往往决定生活于其中的人们的行动方式。"‘美国女孩’在欧洲"的故事系列始终以新兴美国文化中的自由精神与严肃道德为"美国女孩"自身向前发展的行动逻辑,形成了自由与道德变奏的文化叙事模式。"美国女孩"在欧美文化差异中的行动完成了詹姆斯对形成中的美国民族文化的想象性重构。In Henry James＇ international novels, ＂the American girl＂ is the thematic character of cuhural narration. The deep level of a cuhure always determines the action modes of the people living in it. The story series of ＂ ＂ the American girl＇ in Europe＂ all along takes the free spirit and serious morality in modern American culture as her action logic, and forms the cultural narration mode of freedom and morality variation. The actions of ＂ the American girl＂ in the differences between Europe and America accomplish Henry James＇ imaginative reconstruction of the American national culture.
