An Experimental Study on the Anti-damage Effect of Guchiwan Against Free Radicals

摘  要:本文用大白鼠臭氧快速衰老动物模型对固齿丸抗自由基损伤作用进行了实验研究,结果表明:固齿丸能提高衰老大白鼠红细胞超氧化物歧化酶活性水平,从而抑制了机体内组织的脂质过氧化,保护了机体特异性和非特异性免疫功能,增强了牙周组织对细菌的抵抗力。27 SD rats were used in the study,which were divided into three groups,9 rats ineach group.In model group,the acute free radicals damage was caused by inhalation ofO_3.The second group was treated by the same method,but Guchiwan(固齿丸)wasgiven 4gm/kg/day to each rat simultaneously.The third group was used as control.Atthe end of experiment,the SOD activity in RBC,the LPO content in liver,the phago-cytotic function of macrophage in abdominal cavity were measured seperately in threegroups.The periodontal tissues were examined by pathologic methods.The results were as follows.The RBC SOD activity in O_3 model group was lowercompared with the control(P<0.01);The SOD activity in the model+Guchiwan groupwas higher than the model group(P<0.01),but lower than the control P(<0.01);Theliver LPO content in the model group was higher than the control(P<0.01);The LPOcontent in the model+Guchiwan group was lower than the model group(P<0.01),approached to the controle(P>0.05).As the phagocytosis of macrophage from abdominalcavity,the ratio and the index of phagocytosis in the model group were lower than thecontrol(P<0.01);those of the model+Guchiwan group were quite similar with thecontrol(P<0.05).As the pathologic changes of the periodontal tissues,there were se-rious inflammation changes in the model group;but were light in the model+Guchiwangroup.The results suggested that Guchiwan can raise the SOD activity in RBC of aging rats;so that the lipid superoxidation was inhibited;the specific and non-specific im-mune functions were protected;resistance against microorganisms was enhanced in theperiodontal tissues.
