摘　　要：《门外文谈》是鲁迅论述文字起源、发展和改革的一篇重要著作。其中涉及文艺问题的部分,精辟地阐述了文艺起源与人类劳动实践的关系,肯定了民间文艺对于民族文化发展的积极作用,指明了新文学家对于人民大众所应取的立场和态度。全文批判了文字与文艺起源问题上的各种唯心论观点。On the Origins of Characters and Literature is an important works by Luxun which expounds the origin, development, and reforms of literal characters. Its part covering literature ingeniously expounds the relationship between the origin of literature and physical labor and practice of human beings, affirms the positive roles of civilian literature in the development of national culture, and points out the standpoints and attitudes a man of letters should take. Various kinds of idealist viewpoints about the origins of characters and literature were criticized in On the Origins of Characters and Literature.
