摘　　要：中韩两国在近代都曾深受帝国主义的侵略,同为后发外生型国家,现代化之路有许多相似的地方,但由于历史和自然的原因,两者在具体的现代化道路上有很多不同。通过探讨两国近代化开始时的契机、两国的领导者对近代国家的认识、改革的深度与阻力等方面来比较两国现代化的启动、现代化的进展、现代化的成效以及现代化的延误等问题。As external-oriented countries, both China and South Korea have been invaded in modern times by imperialist aggressions, and both shared the many similar experiences in their way to modernization. But due to historical and natural reasons, each has its own particular process toward modernization. By comparing the two countries＇ beginning chance of modernization, the idea of modernization held by the leaders of the two countries, the depth of reform and the problems of resistance, the paper explores and discusses the two countries＇ initial start of modernization, progress and achievements made in modernization and the factors that hinder modernization.
