摘　　要：森大厦以ARK Hills为原型．提出了继承元麻布．爱宕绿色Hills的“垂直绿色花园城市”的城市景象。将城市中心被仔细划分的土地集中起来进行再次开发．通过将建筑高层化来产生空地，以营造充满绿色的空间。Mori Building created the original template of the urban image, the ＂Vertical Garden City,＂ at ARK Hills. This concept was inherited by the Moto-Azabu Hills and Atago Green Hills projects. The concept isto amalgamate several small plots of land that were spread out in an urban area and redevelop the area under a unified plan. Building high-rises means there is more room for open space which means there can be more greenery even in the heart of the city. Roppongi Hills has realized the three themes of greenery： greenery to add to a feeling of security, greenery to enjoy at home, and greenery to enjoy walking in the city.
