摘　　要：随着经济全球化的发展,我国矿产资源勘查开发和地勘行业的发展问题凸现出来。面对严峻的挑战和难得的机遇,如何趋利避害,实施安全有效的紧缺矿产资源勘查战略成为重大研究课题。文章以青海省为例,通过分析相关因素并结合国家西部大开发战略的实施,探讨我国西部地区紧缺矿产资源开发利用的相关问题。With the economic globalization, the problems about exploitation of mineral resources and development of our mining industry have emerged. To be confronted with the severe challenge and rare opportunity, how to take advantage of the positive sides and avoid the negative sides, and how to actualize mineral resources exploration strategy effectively have become a big research subject. Taking Qinghai province as an example, based on analyzing of related factors under the conditions of development of the west region, the authors try to discuss the problems in research of mineral resources in the west regions of China.
