摘　　要：针对辽西沿海地区的地域、交通、科技和资源等方面的特点,结合对城市群理论的阐述,分析了建设辽西沿海城市群的必要性和可行性,从政府推动、品牌创建、城市协调和制度建设等方面提出了促进辽西沿海城市群建设的若干建议,进而推动辽西沿海地区的经济发展。According to the features in region, traffic, technology and resources, combining city group theory, the paper analyzes feasibility and necessity of city group construction in coastal areas of western Liaoning. Then the paper proposes some advice to promote the development of city group in coastal areas of western Liaoning The following aspects should be considered ： government promoting, brand creating, city coordinating and institution construction. And then we can promote the economic development in coastal areas of western Liaoning.
