摘　　要：A method for the TLC-densitometric determination of caffeine in Jiannao tablet has been established. The solution of sample and of standard caffeine were sootted on a si1ica gel GF254. plate anddeveloped with chloroform-ethanol-acetone-ethyl acetate(5:2:2:1).The spots were scanned with CS930 TLC Scanner atλs=270nm and λR=350nm for caffeine.The mothod is simple,rapid and accurate.A method for the TLC-densitometric determination of caffeine in Jiannao tablet has been established.
