摘　　要：运用生态足迹理论,分析了平顶山市及其他14个省(市)的多样性与资源利用效益的关系和发展能力.结果表明:平顶山市的资源利用效益较低,生态足迹多样性不高,发展能力处于较低水平.因此,合理开发利用资源,发挥自身优势,是提高平顶山市可持续发展能力的根本途径.In this article we have analyzed the relationship between the diversity and the effectiveness of the use of respurees relations and development ability of Pingdingshan and the other 14 provinces （cities） with the ecological footprint theory. The results show that the Pingdingshan City lower resource utilization efficiency, ecological footprint diversity is not high, the development of capacity at a relatively low level. Therefore, the rational development and utilization of resources, using their own advantages is for a basic way improving the ability of Pingdingshan City of sustainable development.
