摘　　要：自1993年开通至今，上海地铁在改善城市交通状况方面发挥了重要作用。到2007年底，上海城市轨道交通已实现230公里的通车里程，目前还有180多公里在建，7条线、9个项目均在建设之中。此外，今年上海市的目标是要贯通4条地铁线，即7号线、8号线二期、9号线二期和11号线一期，为2009年试运营通车创造环境。今天，上海市民出行，不仅可以通过公交乍还可以通过城市轨道交通去往城市的每个角落。根据规划，至2010年世博会，上海轨道交通将突破400公里，与纽约、伦敦地铁不相上下，而这个目标，伦敦地铁是用了近半个世纪的时间才达到的。Since the opening in 1993, Shanghai Metro plays an important role in improving the traffic situation in Shanghai. By the end of 2007, Shanghai has 230km urban railway, there are still over 180 km under construction, including seven lines, and nine projects. Today, Shanghai residents can not only take bus go to every corner of the city, but also can reach all directions through the urban railway. According to the plan, to 2010, Shanghai urban railway line will exceed 400 kilometers, but this target, the London Underground is used by nearly half a century to achieve.
