摘  要:单晶密度计算值的单位Mg/m3不时地由于SI词头大小写混淆而错为mg/m3,引起高达10亿倍的误差!为了防止这一错误在我国的化学类学术期刊里泛滥成灾,建议:1)投稿者采用另一与Mg/m3完全等价而又不易出错的传统性单位g/cm3;2)审稿者和期刊编辑,特别是统稿编辑和主编,要对这一错误予以高度重视,严格把关;3)审编者在来稿中发现这一错误后,应同时向作者明确指出并强调其错误所在和错误的严重性,以利作者日后不再重犯。In the manuscripts submitted to Chin J Chem the single crystal calculated density unit Mg/m^3 is frequently found to be mistaken as mg/m^3, which means a deviation as high as a billion (10^9) -fold from the correct value. In order to prevent this mistake from extending in our relevant journals the following approaches are suggested: 1 ) the traditional equivalent unit g/cm3 that is not easily mistaken be adopted instead of Mg/m^3 by authors; 2 ) Referees and editors, especially editors-in-chief, should pay much attention to carefully discriminating between the capital and lowercase English letters M and m to strictly control this error; 3 ) Detail explanation of this wrong unit mg/m^3 should be provided for the authors who have made the confusion to prevent them from confusing again.
