摘　　要：生态旅游自20世纪80年代提出以来,便成为国外学者研究的热点问题。以生态旅游产品供给—需求关系为思路,从生态旅游本质、研究区域、生态旅游产业、生态旅游者、生态旅游研究与管理机构,生态旅游的生态、经济与社会文化影响和外部环境同生态旅游关系等方面综述了国外的最新研究进展,表明国外生态旅游研究仍然处于青年期。Ecotourism has been a hot topic in the academic field since it was put forward in 1980s＇. The paper reviews the nature of ecotourism, venues, the industry of ecotourism, eco-tourists, academic and management institutions, ecological, eco- nomic and social-cultural impacts of ecotourism and the relationship between external environment and ecotourism in a view from supply and demand of ecotourism product, suggesting that ecotourism is still in a state of adolescence as a field of academic research.
