摘　　要：FTSJ1是X连锁的与非特异性精神发育迟滞有关的基因之一，研究该基因及其编码产物的生物学功能，有助于揭示FTSJ1与X连锁非特异性精神发育迟滞之间的关系，同时对进一步探索该基因与人类智力及认知过程的分子生物学基础有重要意义。文章综述了FTSJ1基因的结构、生理功能以及可能的作用机制，并对其研究进行了展望。FTSJ1 gene is one of the genes associated with non-specific X-linked mental retardation （MRX）. Studying the biological function of FTSJ1 gene and its encoding product can not only help discover the relationship between FTSJ1 and MRX, but also mean much to the exploration of the molecular basis of FTSJ1 gene and cognitive progress. This paper introduces the progress on FTSJ1 including its structures, biological functions and possible function mechanism. The future directions for the study of FTSJ1 are also discussed.
