现代外语教学法思想的演变及外语教学中对翻译法的认识

摘　　要：本文对国外现代外语教学思想的演变作了简要叙述,并介绍了外语教学法流派之翻译法。说明翻译法的优点和局限性,了解它的来龙去脉,对于我们理解中国这个特定国情下英语教学过程仍然存在翻译法的现象和原因,对我们探索适合中国国情的英语教学方法是大有帮助的。In this article the author has given a brief description of the development of Methodologies in modern foreign languages teaching, mainly about the development of grammar - translation method and its advantages and disadvantages. The author thinks it is of help to understand why the grammar - translation is still widely used in China foreign languages teaching and to find out the proper teaching methods in China.
