摘　　要："精明增长"是美国应付城市蔓延提出一种新的城市发展模式。然而,我国城市在空间扩展中也出了不同程度的蔓延。本文在分析兰州城市人口增长、产业和空间扩展现状基础上,指出了兰州城市在空间拓展中出现的问题,借鉴"精明增长"理念为兰州制定科学合理的城市空间发展战略。＂ Smart growth＂ is a new concept to cope with the urban sprawl. Based on the analysis on the characteristics of re＇ban expansion, the problems in the urban space development of Lanzhou were proposed. It was pointed that Lanzhou should use ＂ smart growth ＂ for to reference and formulate the scientific and rational development strategies.
