摘　　要：In view of the great human and economic losses from the families that have practiced family planning due to the ＂May 12 Earthquake＂, the Chengdu Population and Family Planning Committee of Sichuan Province initiated its ＂Five Cares＂ action in the population and family planning system through the displaying of its advantages to help the quake-hit families that have practiced family planning cure their psychological trauma, establish confidence in life, overcome difficulties in life and production and rebuild a better homeland.
