摘　　要：影视剧中的湘西,不仅指代以湘西为背景的视觉影像,而且也是我国民族生存和文化困境折射于当下传媒介质中的文化表征。本文将从文化研究的角度出发,对影像湘西的历史的梳理入手,揭示"湘西"符号影像建构的逻辑、想象湘西的方式,并探询蕴藏于湘西与影像表征的互动关系中的文化意蕴。T ＂West Hunan＂ constructed in films and TV series, refers to the visual images concerning West Hunan as well as the visual reflection of the dilemma between culture and existence. This thesis is attempted to retrace the transition of West Hunan films and TV series, elaborate on the construction of West Hunan sign, which contributes to the final understanding of the cultural implication embalmed in it.
