摘　　要：本文根据重庆地区边坡破坏的特征，分析了砂泥岩边坡自动止滑的层面角的上下限值。层面角只有在上下限值之间才可能产生滑动，按照块体边坡进行计算和设计。另外不论层面角的大小，如果块体的尺寸小到可以用综合摩擦系数来描述时，则按照碎体边坡来进行计算和设计。Based on characteristics of rupture of side slopes in Chongqing area , the upper and lower limits for bedding plane angle of automatic slip stop for sandmudstone slope were analysed . The slip occurs only if the bedding plane angle lies between its upper and lower limits and the design and calculation are carried out according to the side slope of the rock mass . ln addition if the dimension of the rock body is as small as one which can be described by complex coefficient of friction , then whether the bedding plane angle is , the calculation and design can be carried out on side slope of detrital body.
