Objectives To explore strategies of promoting treatment-seeking behavior of malaria patients among ethnic minority residents. Percentage of people seeking diagnosis and effective treatment within 24 hours of fever onset increased from the baseline 23.03% (18.81%-27.71%) to 86.96% (68.47-96.57%) (P〈0.01). Conclusions Strategies of behavior change communication successfully promoted treatment-seeking behavior, and declined malaria incidence and prevalence with other measures together.
