摘　　要：胡锦涛总书记在党的十七大报告中提出中国特色社会主义民主政治理论。至此,中国社会主义民主政治建设上了一个新台阶。根据中国特色社会主义民主政治建设在不同时期取得的成就将其进程大致分为五个阶段,通过对中国社会主义民主政治建设的发展历程的分析,总结中国社会主义民主政治建设的主要经验,从而以史为鉴,开创未来。On the 17^th Congress of the Party, Comrade Hu Jintao put forward a theory with Chinese characteristics about the construction of socialist democracy, thus bringing our country＇s socialist democracy construction into a new stage. This text divides its course into five major phases according to achievements in different stages. Through an analysis of the development of the course for China＇s socialist democracy construction, this paper attempts to summarize its main experience and thus provide a historical reference for its future development.
