摘　　要：In 1971,as U.S.President richard Nixon’s special envoy,then-National security Adviser Henry Kissinger made a secret trip to China.What greeted him were slogans painted on walls along the road from beijing’s Nanyuan Airport to the Diaoyutai state Guesthouse,and their gist was:"Down with the American imperialists and all reactionaries."It was unimagi-nable then that Kissinger,at the age of 85,would visit beijing 37 years later,this time with his family as spectators at the beijing Olympic Games.In between sporting events,he took his family to visit his old friend,96-year-old Huang Hua,who was the ne-gotiator and host of his 1971 visit.
