摘 要:作为研究损耗性左手材料的电磁特性的第一步是要解决其电磁参量的表达方式的问题。为此,分别利用复有效介电常数与复有效磁导率来表示左手介质的损耗特性,利用介质的电导率来表示左手介质的损耗特性这两种方法,推导出有损耗的左手介质的复波数、复波阻抗和复折射率的表达式,并将其与右手介质的表达式进行了比较。研究结果发现,损耗性左手介质的各电磁参量表达式均为复数形式;除了复波阻抗外,其它电磁参量的虚部均为正值,实部均为负值。最后推导出了两种表达方式之间的关系表达式。希望该研究结果可为左手损耗材料及相关问题如含有左手损耗材料的微波吸波体研究等提供有益的参考。Obviously, the first step of the investigations of the properties of lossy LHMs is to solve how to express their electromagnetic parameters. Therefore, using complex effective permittivity and complex effeetive permeability of media, and conductivity of media to express the lossy properties of LHMs are employed to derive two sets of expressions of the complex wave number, complex wave impedance and complex refractive indices of lossy LHMs, and compare them with those of conventional (right - handed) media. The results show that all the expressions of the electromagnetic parameters of lossy LHMs are complex ; the imaginary parts of all the electromagnetic parameter of lossy LHMs except the complex impendance are positive, and the real parts are negative. Finally, the relations between the two sets of expressions are discussed. It is hoped that the results reported here may provide a useful reference to the researchers working in the area of lossy LHMs and relative to it such as microwave - absorbers composed of or containing lossy LHMs.
