摘　　要："停声待拍"是泉州南音唱腔中一种特殊的润腔形式。"停声待拍"一词在古代乐论中早已出现,但在泉州南音中的含义却不同。并且,是否在唱腔中运用"停声待拍"是南音两大地域性流派——泉州法与厦门法在唱腔上最具代表性意义的差别和争论的焦点。＂Sound-pausing and Beat-waiting＂ is a special form of aria in Quanzhou＇s Nanyin Opera. ＂Sound-pausing and Beat-waiting＂ has appeared in the ancient music theory, but its meaning is different in Quanzhou＇s Nanyin aria. The two main regional schools, namely Quanzhou and Xiamen, focus their differences and arguments on whether ＂sound-pausing and Beat-waiting＂ should be used in aria or not.
