摘　　要：本文在ADI公司的ADSP-BF561芯片上完成了压缩编码标准H.263的编程实现。首先简要介绍了H.263的性能和技术特点,详细讨论了H.263编解码器在算法级、代码级和存储方式等各个方面的优化方法,并针对ADSP-BF561的特点采用了一系列优化策略,使编解码器能够达到实时通信的要求。最后针对不同环境的图像序列对系统的性能进行了测试,试验结果显示,经过优化后的编解码器运行速度有了很大提高,编解码CIF格式的图像基本达到实时。In this paper, an H.263 video codec standard is successfully implemented on the platform of ADSP-BF561, we introduce the performance and characteristic of H.263 concisely, and have a discussion of the optimization way of the H.263 in C code, assembly level and storage. Aimed at the characteristic of chip ADSP-BF561, a series of optimizing strategy has been used, in order to let the video codec meet the needs of real-time communication. Finally, we have a test on the system performance in different environments, the result shows that the optimized video codec has a great improvement on run speed, encoding and decoding a CIF picture neatly achieved at real-time.
