摘　　要：武汉市新洲区各街道、镇方言的语音特点与黄冈方言一致而与武汉方言不同,因此,新洲方言应该归入江淮官话而不是西南官话。Due to the fact that phonological features of the dialect used in each street and town of Xinzhou district, Wuhan are the same as Huanggang dialect whereas different from Wuhan dialect, the paper argues that Xinzhou dialect should be under Jianghuai Mandarin rather than Southwest Mandarin.
