摘　　要：为了提高学生的学习积极性和授课质量,笔者将NS-2网络仿真平台引入到"宽带交换技术"的教学中,引导学生利用该平台对实际网络拓扑和MPLS、ATM等复杂协议进行模拟与分析,并以动画和曲线等多种方式来演示协议交互方式和性能,提高了课程的生动性以及学生的动手能力。实践结果表明引入该方法明显改善了授课效果。In order to help the students take an active part in learning and improve teaching quality, this paper proposes an assistant method by applying open source software NS-2 to Broadband Switching Technology course. The students can use this platform to simulate various network topologies and complicated protocols such as ATM and MPLS etc. With the help of the animation tools such as NAM, the protocols＇ working process and performance can be demonstrated. The result shows that such approach can not only arouse students＇ interests, but also enhance students＇ practical ability. It proves that the teaching quality has been improved greatly by applying this method.
