摘　　要：介绍了MPI与网格计算的相关概念,描述了MPICH-G2的工作原理、特性以及MPICH-G2在网格环境下实现MPI并行计算的方法。综合阐述了MPICH-G2的通信性能及其在网格计算中的应用现状,并且通过对近几年使用MPICH-G2和Globus网格服务结合搭建分布式异构环境的典型实例的具体分析,展示了MPICH-G2在网格计算中的重要作用,总结了MPICH-G2的现存问题与发展前景。The article introduces the concepts of MPI and grid computing, and describes the working principle of MPICH-G2 with its characteristics. The article also explains the way of implementing MPI parallel computing under grid with MPICH-G2, whose communication performance and application actuality arc discussed later, and displays the importance of MPICH-G2 in grid computing through detail analysis of the typical examples of constructing the distributed and heterogeneous environment with MPICH-G2 and Globus grid service. Finally, the article summarizes the problems and future of MPICH-G2.
