摘　　要：沈从文的短篇小说《丈夫》和《贵生》描绘了湘西男性在苦难人生里的幻想和挣扎,独特的叙述蕴含着作者与主流文学不同的叙事风格和文学观。两篇小说的主人公命运悲惨,都经历了从顺从到反抗的过程,是苦难中国的剪影和表征。沈从文在悲哀的故事里悲天悯人,冷静抒情,旨在探索文学经典的重造,凝眸民族的和谐远景。Shen Congwen＇ s short novels Husband and Cherish Lives depict the suffering and the illusion of the struggled life of men in West Hunan. The unique narrative contains the author＇s narrative style and literary concept which are different from literary mainstream. In two novels the tragic fate of the heroines experience the process from obedience to resistance, which are two miniatures and symbols of the suffering China. In the sorrow stories, Shen Congwen becomes concerned over the destiny of mankind and expresses calmly his emotions to recreate the classic literature and to outlook national harmonious vision.
