摘　　要：重点探讨了长尾理论的理念与图书馆学五定律思想的一致性,认为近年来兴起于美国的长尾理论不仅能够为新经济带来成功,而且对图书馆服务具有启示作用。深入理解长尾理论,能够促进图书馆学五定律在网络环境中的实现。This paper mainly discusses the coherence between the idea of Long Tail Theory and the thought of the Five Laws of Library Science,and considers that the Long Tail Theory rising in USA not only can bring success to the new economy,but also can give the apocalyptic function to the library service.Understanding the Long Tail Theory thoroughly can accelerate the implementation of the Five Laws of Library Science in the contemporary network environment.
