摘　　要：As to the truth-value assignment of the Liar Sentence in the frame,it is found that the Liar sentence is contradictory in some frames in the sense that it can not be assigned the truth value in these frames without violating the "pattern of valuations" for the Liar sentence.Generally,it is proved that the Liar sentence is contradictory in a frame if and only if this frame contains some odd cycles.This result suggests that the so-called "vicious circle" to the Liar paradox is precisely the odd cycles.As a paradoxical sentence,the Liar sentence has some relative contradictoriness,which is its essential characteristic.As to the truth-value assignment of the Liar Sentence in the frame,it is found that the Liar sentence is contradictory in some frames in the sense that it can not be assigned the truth value in these frames without violating the 'pattern of valuations' for the Liar sentence.Generally,it is proved that the Liar sentence is contradictory in a frame if and only if this frame contains some odd cycles.This result suggests that the so-called 'vicious circle' to the Liar paradox is precisely the odd cycles.As a paradoxical sentence,the Liar sentence has some relative contradictoriness,which is its essential characteristic.
