摘　　要：通过对网络会议文献提供网站的访问量的调查、分析可见,网络免费会议文献网站的访问量呈现长尾分布。这说明网络免费会议文献存在很大的潜在市场,可以满足用户及时、个性化的文献需求,因此,对该类文献的采集和利用研究很有必要。在"长尾"理论下探讨网络免费会议文献采集的启示在于,借助网络免费的优势发掘网络上众多分散可免费获得的会议文献,利用数量上的规模优势取得效益。Through the investigation and analysis of the visit quantities of websites which provide free proceedings, we can see that the visit quantities of websites which provide free proceedings show the long tail distribution. It shows that online free proceedings have a very potential market, which could meet customers＇ needs timely and personalized needs, so the research on the collection and utilization of these proceedings are necessary. The enlightenment of discussing the collection and utilization of free proceedings online under the long tail theory is exploring more scattered free proceedings online with the advantages of free networks, and obtaining benefits with the scale advantages of the number.
