摘　　要：天津农学院紧紧围绕天津沿海都市型农业发展、率先实现农业现代化的总体目标和新农村建设的整体要求,积极抢抓有利机遇,主动适应发展需求,在办学定位和学科建设方面,探索出一条适应沿海都市型农业发展、符合新农村建设需要的道路。Tianjin Agricultural University is developing close around the agriculture of coastal city in Tianjin. It takes the lead in achieving the total aim of the agricultural modernization and the whole requirement of building- new - countryside. Tianjin Agricultural University actively holds the favorable opportunities, actively adapts the developing requirement. It explores the way of orientation of university and subject construction to adapt the agricultural development of coastal cities and building- new- countryside.
