摘　　要：论文答辩是研究生毕业考评中的重要一项，也是在校研究生展示自己科研和临床成果的一种形式。2008年全国研究生暑期学校《现代外科学前沿：大师论坛》在教学过程中首次引入学员论文答辩的内容，实践证明其效果良好。是一种可行的暑期学校教学和评估新模式。Thesis defence is an important method of postgraduates＇ graduation assessment and a way for the graduating students to display their research and clinical experience. Thesis defence was first applied in the teaching of summer school for postgraduates, ＂Masters＇ Forum on Current Advances ＆ Progress in Surgery＂, and achieved satisfactory results. Therefore, thesis defence is a feasible assessment pattern of summer school teaching for postgraduates.
