摘　　要：催化转化器作为控制汽车排放的一项重要技术,在汽车上得到广泛的应用。为了满足愈来愈严格的汽车排放法规和具体实用对催化转化器性能的要求,介绍了夏利轿车催化转化器采用的研发新技术和生产新方法,并阐述了针对冷启动和天然气发动机的催化器发展的特殊之处。最后特别强调了催化转化器在整个排气系统及整车中匹配的重要性。采用一些新技术,利用系统匹配的观点,就有能力使汽车排放达到更严格的标准。With the stringent emission regulations, catalytic converters have been widely used to control emissions from automobiles. In this paper, some advanced technologies for design and manufacturing of catalysts used for Xiali are introduced, especially catalysts applied for cold start and the NG （natural gas） vehicle. Finally the importance of catalytic converter in the exhaust system and the automobile calibration is emphasized. Rigorous emission standards can be met with optimized design and calibration for the automobiles.
