摘　　要：塔里木盆地是中国最大的含油气盆地,天然气资源丰富,天然气勘探开发处于早期阶段,是"西气东输"工程的供气源头。中国石油塔里木油田公司在该盆地天然气开发过程中始终坚持依靠科技,强化管理,确保了天然气开发生产的安全、平稳、高效。自2004年正式向"西气东输"工程供气以来,塔里木盆地天然气开发形势快速发展,至2007年底,已建成以克拉2气田为龙头的共计5个天然气生产基地,天然气产量平稳快速上升,2007年天然气产量超过150×108m3,已经具备向"西气东输"工程稳定供气的条件,履行了对国家和社会的承诺,实现了经济、政治、社会三大责任。The Tarim basin as the biggest gas-bearing basin in China with abundant natural gas resource is supplying the gas for the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project even though its exploration and development is still at the early stage.The PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Company insists on the principle of relying on the science and technology and reinforcing the management to ensure the development and production of natural gas in safe,steady and high efficient way.Since supplying gas for the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project in 2004,the Tarim basin has stepped into a new epoch of rapid development of natural gas.By the end of 2007,5 natural gas fields had been completed including the top first Kela-2 gas field,with the total productivity of over 15 bcm natural gas in the year of 2007.The Tarim basin has possessed good conditions for supplying natural gas stably for the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project which helps the PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Company make good its promise to the state and the society and undertake well its economical and political social responsibility.
