摘　　要：蔡元培一生致力于教育事业,尤其是在高等教育方面,他在借鉴和融合西方发达国家高等教育先进经验和管理模式基础上所形成的高等教育办学思想,通过其在北京大学实施的改革举措体现得淋漓尽致,为中国近代高等教育的创立和发展确定了一种范式,奠定了中国高等教育近代化的基础。CAI Yuan-pei commitment to education for a lifetime, particularly in the area of higher education, and he put forward the thinking of higher education on the basis of the advanced experience and management of the higher education of in Western developed countries, through his reform initiatives at Beijing University, form a paradigms for the creation and development of China＇s modern higher education, that lay the foundation of modern higher education for China.
