南通门楼的地域文化特征

摘　　要：南通民居的门楼是南通地域文化的忠实记载者,近代建筑从传统式建筑,到中西结合式,最终发展成西洋式建筑,在这个发展过程中,传统门楼的朴实无华充分体现了南通文化的"和中内敛"的地域文化特征。二门无论从用材还是构建的配置以及装饰都明显优于大门,充分显示了南通文化的张力。而近代的门楼包括中西融合式和西洋式,充分吸收了外来的文化,使外来文化和本土文化达到完美的融合,显示了南通对外来文化巨大的包容性。Ancient gate towers in Nantong are carriers of the regional culture of Nantong. Modem buildings are developed from traditional buildings, integrated traditional and western buildings and western-style building. In this evolvement, the plainness and simplicity of gate towers in Nantong have well reflected the regional cultural features of Nantong. The traditional screening doors take great advantages of the gates in terms of materials, components and decorations, which reveal the cultural tension of Nantong. Meanwhile, modem gate towers, whether they are integrated traditional and western styles or pure western styles, perfectly combine alien cultures with the regional culture of Nantong, which well reflects the inclusiveness of Nantong culture.
