摘 要:智能总线(Smart Management Bus,SMBus)已成为PC机智能电池系统中主机、智能电池充电器、智能选择器、智能电池及外设之间的标准互连接口。本文研究了SMBus规范,介绍了典型的基于片上系统(SoC)设计的知识产权核(IP)实现,采用自顶向下(Top-down)的集成电路设计方法完成了设计,并架构了基于总线功能模型(BFM)的验证平台完成功能仿真,顺利完成了逻辑综合和时序仿真。FPGA验证和投片后测试均表明设计具有良好的性能。Smart Management Bus ( SMBus ) has become the standard interconnect interface between host, smart charger, smart selector and smart batteries of smart battery system based on PC. In this paper, both the research of SMBus2.0 specification and typical IP core desin method based on SoC design are discussed. Top-down design method is adoptted here, and a platform based on Bus Function Models ( BFM ) is constructed for function verification, both the logic synthesis and netlist-simulation are done successfully. The emulation through FGPA and tests after tape-out demonstrate that, this design is of high performance.
