摘　　要：论述了制定地学类博物馆数字化藏品元数据的原则和方法,并据此原则和方法将地学类藏品数字化信息分为3个元数据子集,并对每个子集的元数据元素从7个属性特征分别加以阐述。并开发出相应的藏品MIS系统,同时实现了任意元数据字段转换成通用XML格式的软件模块,更利于不同馆际之间的数据共享。Discusses the principle and method of constituting digital specimen metadata in the geological digital museum, and describes the digital geological specimen with three metadata subsets, then gives a detail description of metadata element in every subset from seven attribute characters. At last develops specimens MIS, which can convert any metadata field to multipurpose XML files, it is easy to share digital specimens in different museums.
