摘　　要：弗洛斯特关于"女性"和"欲望"的叙事诗大多具有双重主题。主题之一是他在女性与欲望的故事中表达的独特的女性观和欲望观,主题之二表现为在隐喻和象征层面上对于女性欲望和诗歌创作关系的探索。借助于"反讽"和"隐喻"等叙事策略和修辞手法,弗洛斯特在诗歌中阐释了其辩证的诗学观,并形成了其"平衡诗学"的诗化表达。Most of Robert Frost＇s narrative poems concerning female and female desire have doublelayered themes. One thematic concern is the explication of Frost＇s unique conception of women and their desires. The other major theme of Frost＇s narrative poems is his metaphorical and symbolic dramatization of the relation between female desire and poetry writing. By adopting narrative irony and metaphor, Frost interprets his dialectical understanding of poetry writing and gives a poetical expression of his ＂poetics of balance＂.
